Book Review – Rekindling the Flame

I am back with another book that you absolutely need to get your hands on. Thank you to Madison Myers for choosing me as one of the lucky ARC recipients for this book. When I tell you I will be purchasing an additional copy so that it can grace my bookshelf as well as my Kindle – it’s that good. Wyatt Andrew Grady is that good.

Typically I am not the kind of reader leaving annotations in her book (no shame if you are, I just have never saw the need) that was until Chapter 22 pg. 273.

“One day, when you’re a mom, you’ll understand. Or maybe you never will. But when you’re a parent, all you can do is what you think is best for your kids. It’s the only thing that matters when you’re a mother. You’ll make some mistakes, you’re bound to. Lord knows I did. But you’ll try to do your best, and that’s all you can do”

When I tell you, I have never been so stopped in my tracks. There is nothing about this book that doesn’t leave you wanting more

From the very first page, I felt an immediate connection to Aurora. Madison Myers has crafted a beautifully nuanced character whose journey of self-discovery and forgiveness is both heart-wrenching and uplifting. Watching Aurora navigate her grief and ultimately find herself is a testament to Myers’ incredible storytelling.

And then there’s Wyatt — seriously, can he be real? He’s the kind of book boyfriend you want to bring to life and keep forever. Their chemistry is electric, and the spice? Let’s just say it’s off the charts!

This book made me laugh, cry, and reach for my phone to text my sister about all the feels. Madison Myers has definitely secured her spot on my top tier author list. I can’t wait to dive into her other works! If you’re looking for a story that beautifully intertwines love, loss, and personal growth, Rekindling the Flame is a must-read. Grab yourself an apple crisp macchiato and thank me later.
